My Commitment to Parker County

If you elect me as your next County Clerk, I am committed to bringing fresh ideas, responsible leadership, and exceptional customer service to the office.  The County Clerk is entrusted with safeguarding the documents that tell the story of our community - records that define who we are and where we are going - records that preserve our legacy for generations to come.

Stewardship of Public Records

I will ensure that every document related to property in Parker County - from deeds to liens - is accurately recorded, properly indexed, and easily accessible.  I will also work to equip the citizens of Parker County with the tools and knowledge that they need to protect their property and combat fraud.

I will ensure that the County Clerk's office remains a trusted guardian of our community's most important records.  I will bring efficiency, transparency and competency to the task of serving our ever-growing community.

From birth certificates and marriage licenses to military service records, probate documents and death certificates, these records are more than just mere paperwork - they are the chapters of your life's story.  I will ensure that these records are always secure, accessible, and treated with the competence and dignity that they deserve.

Prepared to Lead and Committed to Always Learning

I've immersed myself in the Texas Local Government Code, Government Code, Property Code, Agriculture Code, and Estates Code.  I've also carefully interpreted and implemented legislative updates from the recent 89th Texas Legislature.

Before my county service, I spent over two decades in the federal government as a Contracting Officer and subject-matter expert in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), supporting highly complex, multi-million dollar acquisitions that relied on paying attention to details.  I bring that same level of perspective, diligence, and legal precision to understanding and applying the statutes that govern the office of the County Clerk.
